Get to Know Your Members Better: Custom Ghost Signup Form Solution

Ghost default signup portal is a great start for knowing your members. Once members sign up, you can know their referrer source, landing page, and country. This isn't the full potential of the signup form, and it's possible to expand its capabilities with a custom signup form.

In a recent project, I developed a custom signup form with dynamic fields designed to capture more nuanced information about their members. The form integrates seamlessly with Ghost’s default signup process, preserving all default signup information, such as location, referrer source.

In addition, the form generates member profile labels based on their responses to the signup form questions, enabling more targeted member segmentation and communication.

To better member data better, the signup form is connected with Google Sheets to log responses, ensuring that extra data is securely recorded and easily accessible for deeper analysis. This means my client now has richer data to better serve their members and make informed decisions.
